Life these Days
I was supposed to have picked up and started telling more about my things that took place in my last blog. Maybe one day I will. One day soon. Just now, life has gotten under way with my daily job hunting, working out and writing my eBook.
Yes, I said eBook. Something a long the lines of a self-help, work out and Christian based eBook all rolled into one. I was not going to put a Christian spin on it, but I was having writer's block. Then the minute I started just writing from a Christian's perspective, the words just started to flow.
So there we have it. I am doing that now. However, I am also trying to make some gains in the gym.
Muscle please!
Workout!
Gym time seems to help break up the monotony of being laid off. I am trying to learn as much as I can while at a standstill with work and also with my studies for NASM. I want my personal training certification so much yet I feel I need something more with the training I was getting from NASM. Should anyone come across this and have any suggestions for the NASM Cert and better ways to study it, please just say the word.
I learn best by hands on a lot of times. So getting into the gym, and training with the weights after watching a video from some youtuber who puts out informational videos on getting in the gym and lifting, that really helps me best. I have learned some great routines to add to my current weight training regimen.
Leg day especaially. Hip Thrust for instance! What an addition to leg day. Do you want a nice lifted butt? Well that is one work out you should add. It is a bit awkward at first. It is also something that you feel weird about doing in the gym at first as the work out itself just looks funny doing it but it will help with that backside.
So I suggest for anyone wanting to learn some great routines, get on youtube.com and follow some fitness folks. Names such as Christian Guzman, Heidi Somers, Nikki Blackketter, Em Dunc, Emily Hayden and many more have really helped me just by watching their videos. Subscribe!!!!! You won't be disappointed.
Until next time, have a good day folks!
