Thankful that with each challenge, there is a new day to work on that challenge. There is a new day, to maybe not 'fix' any mistakes we have made, but to at least get things right.
Use any thing that has hurt you, or the pain you have caused others, or even the mistakes that you feel are weighing you down to fuel the fire to turn things around. Use the 'rage' you may feel inside to spark the 'couRAGE' to change and better yourself.
Take those energies from any anger you feel and aim it towards habits, and goals that will serve to better YOU.
I cannot stress enough how it all starts from the inside and works its way to the outside. Start by changing what you put into your body. I can testify that what we literally digest has a huge and significant impact on how we feel and function. Feeling good physically creates the energy to function properly and can really motivate us to the things that drive us - our passions, goals and desires.
Not only what we put into our bodies creates the platform to how we feel and function, but also how we take care of ourselves physically. What activities can you incorporate daily, even small ones that will give you more energy and "pep in your step"? I know first hand, how I feel after a great workout. Some cardio and weight training, does wonders for me. When I include these daily along with the right nutrition, I wake up the next day with an entirely different kind of energy. Energy that does not just help me physically, but emotionally and mentally. I have a renewed desire to achieve my goals (maybe it's also the endorphins LOL) but I do know when you feel better, you do better.
When you do better, you achieve more and the drive to challenge yourself even further starts to transpire. Goals start coming into play. Happiness is yours again. If it isn't now, it can be.
Yet, I have not even mentioned the spiritual aspect of all of this. What wonders it does for me to do my cardio and talk to God. I know that for me, being right spiritually is number one. It flows into every aspect of my life....mentally, emotionally, physically and even financially.
When I make mistakes, sometimes ones that I feel I may not even find redemption, it is when I get myself back on track and get up early and put my time into a great cardio session and some heavy-duty weight lifting (sweating it out) that I feel great. I then can focus on the rest of my day and on what I have the power to change, and make right.
As long as we keep getting back up and 'trying' time and time again to get it right, make it right and give our very best is what counts. Failure really is NOT an option. The only failure is not getting back into the game - the game we call life. Our impact here can and will make the difference if we continue to do our part. Start with your health, it makes all the difference in the world. That is when I put my best foot forward and focus on the most important things, like God, family and my dreams and goals.
Here is to your decision today to take your first step in the right direction, your health. It is just like when you are flying on a plane, if something goes wrong, you are expected to take the oxygen mask first, then assist your loved ones. If you have passed out, you cannot help another. So, start with making your health a priority, then you can show your loved ones how you feel from the inside-out, and I have seen this same passion flow to those around us.
If I can help along with this journey, I would love to. Or if you have found your transformation, share it here, so others can be inspired just the same.
'Til next time - have a very blessed and "fit-astic" day!
